About the Project
DivyUp is a mobile app designed to simplify income distribution for wage earners. Our creative studio was approached to develop brand guidelines and create an interactive mobile app design on Figma. The app's interface needed to be intuitive and user-friendly, allowing users to easily manage and distribute their hard-earned income. Our team was excited to take on this project and deliver an engaging experience for DivyUp's users.
Project Goals
The main goal of this project was to create a visually appealing and user-friendly mobile app that would simplify income distribution. We aimed to design an interface that would allow users to easily manage their finances, whether it be paying mortgages, transferring funds to savings accounts, or moving funds to trading accounts. Our team also aimed to create energetic and visually appealing brand guidelines that encompassed the colors, typography and logo of the app.
Branding
The branding for DivyUp was designed to be vibrant and energetic, utilizing bright gradients between Cyan, Green, and Magenta. These colours were chosen to represent growth, vitality and dynamism.
The typography used is modern and clean, with clean sans-serif being used for headings and for body text.
The logo features a split 'D'' in the brand colours, representing the two main aspects of the app - dividing and distributing income.
App Design
To ensure that the app's interface was user-friendly, we developed wireframes that laid out the basic layout and structure of the app. The wireframes allowed us to test different layouts and interface designs before committing to a polished design. Once the wireframes were approved, our team began developing the final designs for the app.
The polished designs focused on creating an intuitive and visually appealing interface that would simplify income distribution for the user. All design work was created in Figma, allowing for easy collaboration between our team and the client.
Interactive Prototypes
As an addition to the final design of the app, we also created interactive prototypes to allow for in-depth user testing and feedback. The prototypes allowed users to interact with the app's interface, testing the usability and functionality of the design. The prototypes were also used to showcase the app's features to the client, allowing for easy feedback and approval of the design.
Conclusion
The DivyUp project was an engaging process, delivering a visually appealing and user-friendly mobile app that simplifies income distribution for wage earners. The branding guidelines developed were energetic and visually appealing, utilizing bright gradients of Cyan, Green, and Magenta. The use of wireframes and interactive prototypes allowed for easy collaboration and feedback between our team and the client, ensuring that the final product met the client's needs and expectations.
